About The Position

Griswold Home Care for Medina, Wayne & Western Stark Counties is seeking compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregivers to join their team. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in their homes, playing a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence, well-being, and quality of life. This companionship and care-giving position offers flexible scheduling with daytime shifts available, with clients typically receiving 4 hours of care, and longer shifts potentially available. Griswold Home Care is dedicated to providing high-quality in-home care services and strives to enhance the quality of life for their clients.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check

Nice To Haves

• 1+ yrs of care-giving and mechanical lift experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs
• Remind client about self-administered medications
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations
• Assist with light housekeeping and household tasks
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands
