About The Position
Safe Hands Warm Hearts (SHWH) is a fast-growing, family-owned agency serving clients across Michigan, specializing in helping Medicaid and Medicaid Waiver clients maintain independence at home. The agency seeks compassionate caregivers to provide hands-on personal care and companionship, supporting clients with daily activities, mobility, and transportation.
Requirements
- Have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
- Pass a comprehensive background check.
- Be comfortable using a smartphone for GPS clock-ins and EVV compliance.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of home care experience is preferred, though training may be provided to the right candidate.
- Have a backup transportation plan in case of car trouble.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and incontinence care (peri-care).
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Assist clients with transfers and range-of-motion exercises.
- Run errands and drive clients to appointments using a personal vehicle.
