About The Position

Exhava Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregivers to provide quality in-home support to seniors. As a Caregiver, you will offer hands-on assistance with daily living activities, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship, tailored to each client's specific needs. Requirements

5+ years of caregiving experience
Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful of client boundaries
Physically capable of assisting with transfers or other mobility needs
Comfortable providing personal care, including care for male clients
Empathetic, patient, and understanding
Attentive to client needs and able to adapt to different personalities and care situations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Dependable and professional
Previous caregiver experience preferred
Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
Current TB test result or chest X-ray documentation
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Valid driver's license and active auto insurance

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Provide companionship and emotional support
Assist clients with memory-related challenges and changes in behavior
Assist with meal preparation, hydration, and feeding when needed
Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan
Assist with mobility and transfers when appropriate
Perform light housekeeping and help maintain a clean and safe home environment
Document care activities and follow individualized care plans
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and members of the care team
Respect client privacy, dignity, independence, and personal boundaries
