About The Position

Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate, experienced, and reliable caregivers, including CNAs and HCAs, who are committed to providing high standards of care and improving the lives of clients. The role involves providing hands-on assistance for full-time hours in the Portland, Oregon area. Candidates must be over 21 years of age to be able to purchase tobacco and alcohol for clients, and paid 8-hour training is available if needed.

Requirements

Must be over the age of 21 (to be able to purchase Tobacco and alcohol for clients)
Ability to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics
Must have valid Driver's License
Proof of current auto insurance
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check
Ability to communicate effectively with seniors
Must be reliable and dependable

Nice To Haves

At least one (1) year of caregiver experience

Responsibilities

Assisting with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) including bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence, and feeding
Assisting with IADL's (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living) including shopping, housekeeping, medication management, and meal preparation
Following each client's Care Plan
