About The Position
At ComForCare Home Care, we help clients stay safe, independent, and enjoy life. As a caregiver, you’ll provide companionship, daily support, and personal care—making a real difference every day. This is a part-time/casual position serving areas including Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, and some areas of Burnaby and New Westminster. Shifts may also be available in North Vancouver.
Requirements
- Fluent in Cantonese and English (speaking, listening, reading, writing).
- Legally authorized to work in Canada (proof required: passport, PR card, or work permit).
- Live locally to the areas we serve.
- Valid BC driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
- Up-to-date vaccinations (must include: Flu, COVID-19, Hep B, Tdap, MMR, Varicella).
- Negative TB test results.
- Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check.
Nice To Haves
- Health Care Assistant or Care Aid qualification.
- Additional languages are a strong asset.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living, personal care, meals, mobility, and light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship: chatting, walking, playing games, watching TV.
- Give families short breaks (respite care).
- Keep accurate records and represent ComForCare professionally.
