About The Position

We are seeking compassionate, reliable Part-Time Caregivers to join our team in Wamego, KS to provide dedicated in-home care for a wheelchair-bound Veteran client (and their four friendly dogs!). Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be comfortable and happy working in a home with 4 dogs.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and active car insurance.
• A genuinely caring heart for Veterans, seniors, and individuals with disabilities, paired with strong reliability and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• No Prior Experience Required: Comprehensive training provided from Day 1—great for both experienced caregivers and animal lovers starting fresh in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential, non-medical support to help our Veteran client maintain comfort, safety, independence, and daily routine at home.
• Assist client with transfers, mobility support (wheelchair care), and personal care routines.
• Help care for the client's 4 dogs (feeding, letting them out, light pet care support).
• Assist with medication reminders, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Provide empathetic, attentive, and respectful companionship.
• Maintain open, reliable communication with our administrative team.
