About The Position
Kennedy Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregivers (Life Care Professionals) to support veterans in Defiance, OH. This role involves providing essential assistance with daily activities of living (ADLs) to help veterans maintain independence in their homes. Kennedy Care has been a trusted provider of high-quality home care services since 2003, offering personalized care, nanny services, and ABA therapy. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to commute within a 25-mile radius
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Proficiency with mobile apps and technology
Responsibilities
- Assist veterans with daily activities of living such as bathing, dressing, and transferring.
- Provide a supportive environment that builds trust with veterans and their families.
- Communicate veteran changes or health concerns directly with your care team.
- Complete necessary training and education with our electronic HR software.
- Use electronic software for timekeeping.
