About The Position

Village Caregiving is seeking an 12 hr shifts overnight caregiver for the Custer area. This role involves assisting clients with personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and providing companionship. The caregiver will also monitor client condition, report changes, and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient with a genuine interest in helping others.
• Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior caregiving experience is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding according to dietary plans.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with mobility and exercises as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor client condition and report any changes to supervisory staff.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided.
