About The Position

Home Care Staff perform a variety of duties including, but not limited to, housekeeping, laundry, and meeting the needs of our clients in compliance with Snyder Village policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License and maintains liability and collision insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Housekeeping, laundry, attendant, homemaker services, and companion care and transportation services.
  • Observe clients’ physical condition, attitude, reaction, etc. and report any changes.
  • Perform all assigned duties in accordance with established policies and procedures, safety rules and regulations.
  • Adhere to sanitary, safety and infection control procedures for washing, drying, storage and handling of materials and equipment.
  • Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis.
  • Give on the job training for new staff members.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all clients/ residents’ information.
  • Observe resident’s rights.
  • Perform other and related duties as assigned.
  • Attend in-services and department meetings.
