About The Position
ComForCare Home Health Care - Hendersonville is looking for a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to join our growing team in Hendersonville, TN. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients by providing personalized, one-on-one care in the comfort of their own homes. If you have a passion for helping others and want a career that truly matters, we want to hear from you! We have a client who will need care 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Requirements
- Previous caregiving, home health aide (HHA), or personal care aide (PCA) experience preferred
- Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Nice To Haves
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying living spaces
- Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being
- Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities
- Document and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate supervisor
