About The Position
Griswold Care in Dayton is looking to hire a PART-TIME In-Home Caregiver to provide elderly care and home companionship for our clients. This role involves assisting seniors with daily living tasks within their homes, providing cheerful companionship, and performing household responsibilities such as laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping. The caregiver will provide non-medical care, assist with bathing and personal hygiene, and may occasionally care for clients with dementia or cognitive impairments. Accurate documentation of client status and changes in care is also required.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- 2+ years of home care experience would be a plus; caring for a loved one counts
- Willingness to be trained.
- Ability to provide compassionate elderly care and companionship.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while helping with household tasks.
