About The Position
HomeCare Advocacy Network (HCAN) is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join their caregiving team as In-Home Caregivers. This role involves providing high-quality, non-medical support and assistance to clients in their homes, helping them live safely, independently, and with dignity. The position is located in the Adams County, IA area and serves Southwest Iowa. This is presented as more than just a job, but an opportunity to bring comfort, companionship, and care to those in need.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have auto insurance
- Have reliable transportation and are willing to travel locally

Responsibilities
- Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
- Drive or accompany clients to errands, appointments, or activities
- Offer medication reminders (non-clinical)
- Support with bathing, hygiene, and mobility
- Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs
- Ensure home safety and fall prevention
- Offer respite care for family caregivers
