About The Position

We provide compassionate in-home care that makes a real difference in the lives of seniors and other adults. Our caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent while aging in place. If you are dependable, reliable, and truly compassionate toward seniors, we would love to work with you.

Caregivers assist clients with a range of non-medical care needs. This includes providing companionship and meaningful conversation, preparing meals, offering medication reminders, and completing light housekeeping tasks. Personal care responsibilities may include assistance with hygiene, dressing, grooming, activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility support, and transfers. Caregivers also help with safety monitoring and fall prevention. Transportation to appointments or errands may be required when applicable.

Requirements

• Currently certified or licensed as a CNA, PSS, or DSW in the State of Maine
• Trustworthy and reliable
• Follow through on commitments
• Respect client dignity
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients experiencing hearing loss, cognitive decline, or dementia
• Able to work independently
• Solve problems as they arise
• Maintain professional boundaries
• Protect client confidentiality
• Dependability, punctuality, and consistent attendance
• 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Own reliable transportation
• Proof of auto insurance
• Access to a dependable cell phone with active service
• Eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Pass a background check

Responsibilities
