About The Position
Senior Helpers of Northeast Wisconsin is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Home Care Caregivers to join our team in Waupun, WI. We are currently hiring caregivers for a client who requires 24-hour care, creating immediate opportunities on all three shifts—days, evenings, and overnights. As a Home Care Caregiver, you'll provide personalized one-on-one care that enhances your client's quality of life while offering comfort, companionship, dignity, and peace of mind to both the client and their family.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license required
- Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
- Ability to pass a background check
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
- Offer medication reminders
- Assist with mobility and safe transfers
- Monitor the client's well-being and maintain a safe environment
- Support individuals living with Dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and other age-related conditions
- Promote safety, comfort, dignity, and independence
- Build meaningful, trusting relationships with clients and their families
- Communicate changes or concerns with the office team to ensure continuity of care
