About The Position

We’re hiring compassionate Caregivers to provide meaningful one-on-one care to clients in Charles County, MD, with immediate opportunities in La Plata and Waldorf, MD. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of proven experience as Caregiver, PCA, Nursing Assistant
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Possess a valid driver’s license and own transportation
• Ability to speak and understand English as needed for the job

Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility devices (walker, wheelchair, lift)
• Assist with transferring/moving clients
• Lift/move 50 lbs. without assistance
• Support daily living activities
• Light assistance that promotes comfort, dignity, and independence
• Support range-of-motion exercises, and physical care needs
• Meal preparation and special diet support
• Accompany clients on errands or appointments
• Medication reminders
• Provide compassionate companionship, conversation and emotional support
• Perform housekeeping activities
