In-Home Caregiver Personal Care Assistant
About The Position
Right at Home Kentuckiana is hiring dependable and compassionate In-Home Caregivers and Personal Care Assistants to support seniors and adults in their homes. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping others, values meaningful work, and wants flexible scheduling with a supportive office team behind them. We offer flexible scheduling based on client needs and caregiver availability, including morning, day, evening, and overnight shifts, short visits, extended shifts, and weekday and weekend availability. Positions are available throughout New Albany and the surrounding communities.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to communicate clearly in English
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, or move up to 25 pounds independently
- Must be dependable, professional, and compassionate
- Must be able to pass required pre-employment screenings
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, home health aide, CNA, direct support professional, or assisted living aide
- Age 21 or older
- Experience supporting seniors or adults with disabilities
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
Responsibilities
- Personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance
- Mobility and transfer support
- Fall prevention and safety supervision
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Transportation to appointments, errands, or community activities
- Companionship and conversation
- Reporting changes in client condition to the office team
