In-Home Caregiver – Home Health Aide (HHA)
About The Position
Summit Home Care is seeking experienced caregivers, HHAs, CNAs, and direct support professionals (DSPs) who thrive on delivering high-quality one-on-one care across the Twin Cities metro area. This is a flexible part-time opportunity for individuals who love helping others, can manage multiple client visits per day, and enjoy the freedom of working in the field. The role involves providing personal care support, light housekeeping, companionship, and assisting clients with daily routines. Caregivers will travel independently between homes, utilize a mobile documentation system, and serve as a supportive presence for Veterans, older adults, and individuals with disabilities.
Requirements
- 1+ year of paid caregiving experience or a CNA certification
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and insurance
- Ability to confidently handle a dynamic client schedule
- A heart for service, patience, and strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care support like dressing, grooming, bathing, and hygiene tasks
- Assist multiple clients per day with light housekeeping, companionship, and daily routines
- Travel independently between homes across a 35-mile radius
- Use a mobile documentation system to chart visit notes quickly and accurately
- Be a steady, supportive presence in the lives of Veterans, older adults, and individuals with disabilities
