About The Position

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Male Caregivers to provide essential support to a client in his home. Empathy Hands Home Care is looking for reliable, compassionate, and qualified caregivers to serve our clients in the Palmdale, Lancaster, Antelope Valley, and Santa Clarita areas. Must be fluent in Spanish and English. We are looking for experienced Caregivers, CNAs, or Senior Companionship. This is our agency's goal. Requirements

Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
Experience in patient care or senior care is highly desirable.
Ability to perform light cleaning duties as part of maintaining a safe environment.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and this family
Compassionate nature combined with patience and understanding.
Ability to transfer the client safely when needed, adhering to proper lifting or transfer techniques.
Familiarity with meal preparation that meets nutritional needs.
Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred, especially in outpatient, geriatrics, or in-home care settings.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to teach clients about their care plans effectively.
Must be patient, empathetic, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
Willing to work on Weekends

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of home community care practices and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
Support clients with mobility assistance, including lifting when necessary.
Medication reminder and monitor health conditions.
Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
