About The Position
AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking experienced Independent Contractors to assemble products purchased through Home Improvement retailer’s websites. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with experience in furniture assembly, handyman services, home improvement projects, or product installation, allowing them to grow their business while maintaining schedule flexibility. Contractors are paid per completed assembly, with annual earnings potentially ranging from $40,000-$100,000+ depending on market, availability, and volume accepted. Base pay ranges are provided for Furniture ($48-$210 per item), Patio Furniture ($48-$160 per item), and Grills ($48-$80 per item).
Requirements
- Assembly, handyman, installation, or home improvement experience a plus
- Own tools required for assembly work
- Must have reliable transportation with required insurance coverage
- Smartphone with internet access
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Pass a background check and drug screening
- Professional appearance and customer service skills
Responsibilities
- Assemble furniture, grills, patio sets, and other home improvement products in customers' homes
- Follow manufacturer instructions and quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service
- Report job completion through a smartphone app
- Maintain required insurances
