Independent Contractor - In-Home Assembly Technician - Port St. Lucie
About The Position
AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking experienced Independent Contractors to assemble products purchased through Home Improvement retailer’s websites. This opportunity allows contractors to grow their business while maintaining schedule flexibility. Contractors will assemble furniture, grills, patio sets, and other home improvement products in customers' homes, following manufacturer instructions and quality standards. They will provide excellent customer service and report job completion through a smartphone app. AIT Worldwide Logistics is a global transportation company with extensive final mile and home delivery experience supporting residential delivery, white-glove service, and customer-focused logistics across the U.S.
Requirements
- Assembly, handyman, installation, or home improvement experience a plus
- Own tools required for assembly work
- Must have reliable transportation with required insurance coverage
- Smartphone with internet access
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Pass a background check and drug screening
- Professional appearance and customer service skills
