About The Position

This person is an enthusiastic entertainer and ambassador for the Wisconsin Herd in-arena and out in the community. In-Arena host will be responsible for working Wisconsin Herd home games during the season and various events as-needed in the community throughout the year.

Requirements

Create positive energy and pump up the crowd using both voice and body language
Ability to rapidly deliver clear, engaging explanations of on-court promotions to a live audience
Brings an engaging, high-energy on-camera presence with clear, confident delivery that connects with live audience
Creative personality with ability to quickly adapt and improvise to new situations
Attend gameday meetings and on-court rehearsals held prior to all home games
Knowledge of NBA G League basketball rules and regulations
Ability to work with others in a fast-paced environment
Ability to take direction, feedback and be professional at all times
Work a flexible schedule; evenings and weekends are required; possible Holiday games; has to be available for all HOME games
Familiarity with Wisconsin Herd, Oshkosh market, and Milwaukee Bucks

Responsibilities

Assist with all contests and promotions by following an in-depth game script that will be provided by the Director of Game Production & Partnership Activation
Introduce and facilitate pregame, in-game, and postgame content for all Wisconsin Herd home games
Lead/conduct on-court contests and presentations as necessary per the Director of Game Production & Partnership Activation
Act as on-camera talent for some Wisconsin Herd social media channels
