Qualicare Homecare is looking for compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our family as Certified Care Aides and Caregivers. We are actively looking for qualified caregivers to cover both daytime and overnight shifts. This role offers the flexibility to work one-on-one with clients in their homes or serve as a nursing team supplement within senior living facilities.

Requirements

Certified Care Aide Certificate, valid CNA license, or equivalent training.
Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) or CNA Registry status.
1+ years of experience in both home care and facility settings (memory care and mobility experience highly preferred).
Flexible scheduling options available across 3 to 5 shifts a week (Day and Overnight).
Current CPR/First Aid training (or willingness to obtain quickly) and a negative TB skin test or chest X-ray.
Reliable mode of transportation and ability to travel around the Palo Alto territory.
Access to a smartphone and internet for scheduling and charting.

Responsibilities

Provide tailored companionship and cognitive engagement for seniors with memory care needs (Dementia/Alzheimer's) in both residential and facility settings.
Assist with safe ambulation, client transfers, and transporting/escorting clients to appointments, activities, or facility outings.
Help with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
Provide medication reminders and strictly follow individualized client care plans or facility workflows.
Maintain accurate documentation/charting and seamlessly integrate with facility nursing teams when assigned to on-site support.
