About The Position
The Imprinting Lead will work in conjunction with the production/assembly department and graphics department to perform duties essential for customer order completion, timeliness, and accuracy. As the Imprinting Lead, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and motivating the team to deliver on our goals.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 5+ years previous printing experience in a production/assembly environment
- General problem solving/analysis capabilities with effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and build a high-performing team
- Ability to read and understand Traveler
- Thorough knowledge of the prepping and catching methods for all press machines, re-bagging processes, and shipping standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Promotes a team environment
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Understand proper sorting, receiving, and staging of inventory
- Safely, properly, and effectively operate multiple presses: Sidewinder Press (1 color), Manual Press (multi-color), Auto Press (multi-color), Pocket Press, Heat Seal Press, Hard Hat Press, Safety Glasses Press, Heat Press
- Safely, properly, and effectively operate the Mimaki and DTF Printer
- Safely, properly, and effectively select, mix, and modify ink
- Safely, properly, and effectively produce screens for imprint
- Safely, properly, and effectively produce plates for pad print
- Safely, properly, and effectively train employees on each operation
- Mentor and coach team members to foster professional growth and enhance team performance
- Conducts quality checks throughout the process
- Other duties as assigned
