This team-oriented individual will be responsible for supporting our import operations team in a variety of ways to help provide a standard of excellence to our customers. Requirements

Minimal experience in import operations preferred, but not required
Bachelor's Degree preferred
CargoWise experience a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
General knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Detail-oriented
Self-Motivated

Responsibilities

Monitor department email inbox and distribute documentation (pre-alerts, vendor and agent invoices, etc.) to Import Operations Specialists
Review and verify pre-alert information and documentation
Assist in processing AP invoices (vendor/agent) within operating system (CargoWise)
Assist in timely posting of AR invoices to ensure billing is completed accurately and forwarded to customers as outlined in SOP
Build relationships with all customers, overseas agents and service providers
Assist the day-to-day operations of the import department to ensure that customer requirements are met
Daily organization and review of files within CargoWise
Responsible for timely update of shipment milestones within CargoWise
Other duties as assigned by management
