About The Position

This role is pivotal in addressing and resolving transportation issues, acting as a liaison between the customer service team and transportation providers. You will be the primary contact between the plant, third-party warehouses, and transportation providers, ensuring seamless logistics operations. The position serves as maternity leave coverage and includes training with the individual going on leave.

Requirements

3+ years of logistics experience
Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
Strong understanding of logistics, freight, and supply chain management

Nice To Haves

3-5 years of prior logistics and/or supply chain experience
Experience in implementing changes, such as new logistics service providers or managed services
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Dynamics 365, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills

Responsibilities

Collaborate with customer service, plant warehouses, third-party warehouses, and transportation providers to ensure excellent service and cost-effective performance.
Ensure carrier coverage of all orders in coordination with transportation providers.
Manage export shipments, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed by the company and freight forwarder/transportation teams.
Support freight tendering, order pickup, and execution processes.
Assist in document creation and customs clearance procedures.
Track and follow up on supplier non-conformance issues.
Perform other duties as needed and undertake detailed analysis on multiple projects.
Provide support and backup to the Logistics Manager as required.
Adhere to all policies and procedures.
