About The Position

Abbott Point of Care has an exciting opportunity for an Implementation Support Specialist (ISS). The role is field-based, remote within the territory of California, Nevada, Arizona, and Colorado with 75% local travel. The ISS will be a part of a dynamic field support service team responsible for driving the successful implementation and verification of our products within Hospitals within assigned geographical regions. Key responsibilities will include collaborating with lead IPMs, providing best-in-class execution of implementation activities and tasks to support the company's portfolio of products, and engaging with key personnel to restructure customer processes to facilitate better patient care with the company's products. You will continue Abbott’s 130+ year tradition of bringing new products and technologies to the world, creating more possibilities for more people at all stages of life.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree- preferably in Medical Technology, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, or a related field; Associate degree with relevant experience,
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in the field.
  • Manage multiple assignments across geographies.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Provide solutions and contingency plans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM (Salesforce).
  • Willing to travel 75% of the time, including overnight travel. Eligible for a company car.
  • Work independently and as a team member.

  • Convey information clearly and concisely.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Emergency Departments, Free Standing Emergency Departments, and Urgent Care Centers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute Performance Verifications, End User Training, and Go Live Support within an implementation case.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed promptly and accurately, including updating project notes and milestone dates in Summit, expense reporting, and other necessary items.
  • Understand customer needs, build relationships with key stakeholders within accounts, and articulate the benefits of point-of-care testing.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of key product attributes and conduct product demonstrations.
