About The Position

The Implementation Project Manager is responsible for leading client-facing initiatives, including new client implementations, existing client expansions/complex renewals, and key projects related to client service and Market Operations. This role serves as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating across internal teams and external clients to ensure operational readiness and successful onboarding.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in implementation, client onboarding, healthcare operations, or project coordination preferred
  • Proven implementation and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal teams
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); SmartSheet experience a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of healthcare benefit structures and implementation best practices
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on documentation and accuracy

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact during client onboarding and solution deployment
  • Lead or support operational project implementations requiring cross-functional coordination
  • Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications
  • Create and execute project plans, revising as needed to meet changing requirements
  • Track project milestones and maintain status documentation for timely completion
  • Coordinate collection and validation of client data, plan documents, and configuration files
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Provider Relations, Eligibility, Claims, IT) to fulfill implementation requirements
  • Respond to client questions and concerns during onboarding
  • Identify and escalate risks or roadblocks to leadership
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to confirm successful setup and transition to account management
  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance implementation efficiency
