About The Position

Bottomline is a global leader in business payments and cash management, seeking a motivated and multi-talented Implementation Project Manager to manage customer implementations of Bottomline’s Paymode solution. This role involves working closely with customers, vendors, banks, financial institutions, and internal teams to ensure a smooth and successful client experience. The position is based in Portsmouth, NH, with a hybrid work model requiring two days a month in the office. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time/Permanent basis without restriction, as visa sponsorship or transfers will not be provided.

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of Project Management or similar experience
  • Must be skilled in client-facing communication
  • Must have strong customer presentation skills
  • Must possess excellent written communication skills
  • Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must have the ability to provide quick resolution to problems
  • Must be customer service oriented
  • Must believe in teamwork, collaboration, adaptability, and initiative
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Technical proficiency in MS Excel is required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in banking application implementations
  • Knowledge of ACH/WIRE/ Foreign drafts/SWIFT and other payment methods
  • MS SharePoint experience
  • MS Project experience
  • Experience with ERP integration
  • Experience with related payments platform

Responsibilities

  • Educate, lead, and manage Paymode implementation projects to scheduled completion.
  • Develop solid relationships with customers during implementation projects and transition to other teams when appropriate.
  • Plan and achieve project schedules, activities, and tests, while keeping customers informed and projects on schedule.
  • Ensure execution of project activities by coordinating work assignments with customers.
  • Establish and balance priorities and activities between multiple simultaneously progressing projects.
  • Troubleshoot and track project issues, communicating with customers and escalating if required; manage issues to a timely resolution.
  • Ensure established success criteria have been met within timeline and budget.
  • Document project deliverables and hand off to Customer Support for any potential or ongoing support needs.
  • Gather and communicate customer requirements with internal teams as well as external vendors, banks, and financial institutions.
