About The Position

PathAI is seeking an Implementation Engineer to support its digital diagnostics customers. This role involves working with their commercially deployed AI product portfolio, clinical trials platform, and Digital Pathology Image Management System, AISight. The ideal candidate will have experience in SaaS implementations and lab/IT connectivity integrations, be well-organized, driven, and capable of learning quickly in a complex environment. Requirements

3+ years of experience in client-facing, SaaS implementation roles.
Strong analytical skills and operating rigor.
Experience handling difficult customers or situations and demonstrating resolutions.
A strong understanding of the business and products, with the ability to research and self-start in new areas.
Familiarity with HL7 interface implementation.
Hands-on experience with market-leading laboratory information systems (Epic Beaker, Novopath, Cerner Millenium etc) is preferred.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Ability to travel <20%.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers (Anatomic Pathology labs, Academic Medical Centers, Hospital Systems) and clinical trial managers, serving as their primary technical contact during implementation.
Provide hands-on technical implementation support, collaborating with customer IT and internal development teams.
Manage all implementation tasks, including providing schedule updates, resolving risks and issues, and maintaining regular communication with the customer.
Provide on-call support to external clients as an application expert and escalation point for the support team, including participation in an on-call rotation.
