We are currently looking for an Implementation Consultant to join our Cirrus Permitting & Land Management team (Davenport/LAMA) to help configure and implement permitting, city planning, licensing, and code enforcement software for use by local government cities and counties. The position will also answer user questions and assist users by troubleshooting problems with computer software. Preference will be given to candidates with local government experience. Requirements

  • 2 years' experience in municipal permitting or city planning
  • 3 years' experience as a project manager, implementation specialist, or related role in the tech or software industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Professional and pleasant telephone manner
  • Ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical employees and customers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Applicants must have the unrestricted ability to work in the United States (sponsorship will not be offered)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in management information systems, information technology, or other related field
  • ICC Permit Technician Certification
  • Willingness to Travel (up to 25%)

Responsibilities

  • Assist with requirements gathering and business process analysis for local government clients
  • Help configure software by implementing business rules and other requirements
  • Attend weekly meetings with clients via Teams or Zoom
  • Prepare and conduct online training seminars on software products
  • Travel onsite to clients in the United States and Canada to conduct in-person client training
  • Fields support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from users with inquiries regarding software programming, connectivity, printing, and similar concerns.
  • Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve customer issues
  • Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
  • Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Maintain general awareness of Springbrook security and privacy policies
  • Report any security incident or suspected security incident to the Springbrook Incident Response Team
