Objective: The Implementation & Business Operations Specialist supports the successful execution of strategic initiatives, system implementations, process improvements, vendor integrations, and operational projects across the Bank. This role collaborates with business leaders, subject matter experts, and vendors to ensure projects are effectively planned, communicated, implemented, and sustained while supporting the Bank's strategic objectives. Working closely with the Operations Systems & Process Administrator, this position helps drive operational efficiency, organizational readiness, change management, and continuous improvement.

  • Accountability, ownership, and risk awareness.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Three or more years of experience in banking, operations, project coordination, business analysis, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience supporting implementations, vendor integrations, process improvements, or cross-functional projects preferred.
  • Background in retail banking, loan operations, deposit operations, digital banking, or related operational areas preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate strategic initiatives, system implementations, process improvements, conversions, and operational projects.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, action items, project documentation, status reporting, dashboards, implementation records, and executive summaries.
  • Facilitate project meetings, monitor progress toward deliverables, and coordinate activities among departments, vendors, and project stakeholders.
  • Support testing, implementation readiness, training, communications, adoption activities, and post-implementation reviews for new systems, products, services, and processes.
  • Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to gather requirements, assess operational impacts, facilitate communication, and promote accountability throughout project execution.
  • Support process improvements, workflow enhancements, and operational initiatives that improve efficiency and effectiveness across the Bank.
  • Support vendor implementations, system enhancements, integrations, and product launches while monitoring deliverables, timelines, and issue resolution.
  • Serve as a liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders to help ensure implementation activities are aligned, communicated, and completed effectively.
  • Ensure projects incorporate regulatory, audit, risk management, information security, fraud, internal audit, and operational control considerations as appropriate.
