About The Position

The Implant Technical Advisor serves as the primary clinical and technical resource for implant-related cases. This role provides guidance to dental offices, collaborates with internal departments, and helps ensure the successful planning and execution of implant restorations from case acceptance through delivery. The ideal candidate possesses strong implant knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships with customers and team members.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in implant dentistry, dental laboratory operations, or restorative treatment planning
  • Strong understanding of implant systems, restorative workflows, and prosthetic solutions
  • Ability to interpret treatment plans, radiographs, digital scans, and restorative prescriptions
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Proficiency with digital dental workflows and technology

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a dental laboratory environment
  • Familiarity with major implant systems such as Nobel Biocare, Straumann, Zimmer Biomet, BioHorizons, Hiossen, and Glidewell-compatible systems
  • Experience with CAD/CAM technology, digital treatment planning, and guided surgery workflows
  • CDT certification or equivalent implant training preferred
  • Experience providing technical support directly to clinicians

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for implant-related technical questions and case consultations
  • Provide guidance to dentists and dental teams regarding implant restorative options, workflows, and case planning
  • Review prescriptions, digital scans, treatment plans, and supporting documentation for implant cases
  • Collaborate with CAD designers, production teams, and laboratory technicians to ensure accurate case execution
  • Assist with troubleshooting implant cases and resolving technical challenges
  • Support full-arch, hybrid, overdenture, single-unit, and multi-unit implant restorations
  • Verify implant component compatibility, restorative designs, and case specifications
  • Coordinate with manufacturers and implant vendors regarding parts, components, and technical support
  • Provide recommendations on restorative solutions that optimize clinical outcomes
  • Support customer education through training, presentations, and case reviews
  • Represent BioTec professionally during customer meetings, educational events, and industry functions
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and communication records
