About The Position
Rogers Family Dentistry is seeking a skilled and motivated Implant Dental Assistant / EFDA to join our dental team in Anderson, OH. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting with implant procedures and be a licensed Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA). This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can provide exceptional chairside support and ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience.
Requirements
- Current EFDA license or certification in the state of Ohio
- Proven experience assisting with dental implant procedures required
- Strong knowledge of dental instruments, materials, and sterilization techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during implant surgeries and other dental procedures
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, materials, and equipment
- Take and process dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education and post-operative care instructions
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
- Perform expanded functions as permitted by state law and licensure
- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures
- Coordinate with the dental team to optimize patient flow and care quality
