About The Position

Requirements

Experience in immunization program coordination or public health nursing.
Knowledge of immunization schedules, vaccine storage requirements, and reporting protocols.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse healthcare teams and community partners.

Nice To Haves

CMA, CCMA, or RMA is preferred
Certified Immunization Specialist (CIS) credential or equivalent certification preferred.
Experience working within public health departments or community health organizations preferred.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and immunization information systems (IIS) preferred.
Advanced training in epidemiology or infectious disease control preferred.
Bilingual abilities to effectively communicate with diverse populations preferred.

Responsibilities

Managing and overseeing immunization programs within the healthcare setting.
Ensuring the effective planning, implementation, and evaluation of vaccination initiatives to protect community health and prevent the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases.
Collaborating with healthcare providers, public health officials, and community organizations to promote immunization awareness and compliance with regulatory standards.
Managing vaccine inventory, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and reporting requirements.
Enhancing immunization coverage rates and contributing to the overall health and well-being of the population served.
