Catholic Charities of Baltimore, Esperanza Center, is seeking an Immigration Attorney to join the Immigration Legal Services (ILS) at the Esperanza Center. This role provides counsel and representation to low-income immigrants and their families before federal immigration courts, Maryland state courts, and the Department of Homeland Security on a variety of immigration matters. The position also involves assisting and supervising law students, volunteers, and pro-bono attorneys. This is a 1-year grant-funded position with the possibility of renewal. The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring at least 3 days in the office. The Esperanza Center is dedicated to welcoming immigrants by offering hope, compassionate services, and the power to improve their lives, having assisted immigrants from around the world since 1963 with services in education, healthcare, immigration legal matters, family reunification for unaccompanied immigrant children, and general community support.
