About The Position

The Immigration Specialist Manager will work directly with the Senior Director, Visa Processing to support the DOL portion of the visa processing workflow. This role is responsible for managing the Senior Immigration Specialist and Immigration Specialists, overseeing team workflow, supporting employer recruitment processes, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of required filings and documentation.

  • Prior experience working with U.S. employment-based visa filings.

Responsibilities

  • Train Immigration Specialists on drafting prevailing wages, ETA-9089s, and audit responses.
  • Onboard new Senior Immigration Specialists and Immigration Specialists.
  • Initiate recruitment with new sponsors and oversee the full recruitment life cycle, including creating and posting SWA accounts, Sunday advertisements, and DOL Notices of Filing.
  • Manage team workflow, including assigning work to Immigration Specialists and monitoring progress.
  • Report pipeline progress, updates, and issues to the Senior Director, Visa Processing each week.
  • Monitor ETA-9089 filing open dates, stale dates, and estimated filing dates in YOW.
  • Monitor audits and ensure all audit responses are completed timely and accurately.
  • Monitor Intercom daily, respond to chats, assign chats to Immigration Specialists, and update all records accordingly.
  • Draft ETA-9089 templates, audit file templates, and non-template ETA-9089s, as needed.
  • Notify the Business Development Manager of any errors or questions related to yellow folders.
  • Notify the Business Development Manager and Sales when offerings are open to sell.
  • Communicate employer-side updates to Business Development, including new contacts or changes to existing employer information.
  • Send introductory emails connecting sponsors to Client Services.
  • Obtain EVLs, job offer letters, withdrawal letters, and BDV Relationship letters for Envoy from employers.
  • Onboard new employers with outside counsel, track onboarding dates, and set onboarding reminders.
  • Follow up with employers on Envoy requests and coordinate with the Account Manager as needed.
  • Send monthly Sales emails.
  • Participate in calls to onboard new employers with Envoy.
  • Update the A/B Team chart with new sponsors.
  • Move stale offerings to the Stale Client Tracker.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
