About The Position

Harris Beach Murtha is in search of an Immigration Paralegal to assist in the preparation of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa applications for corporate and individual clients. You will THRIVE in this role if you have: 3+ years of Business Immigration paralegal experience required A Bachelor’s Degree in a field emphasizing writing or communication Experience in business and family-based immigration (preferred not required) Superior writing/editing skills for complex support letters and strong written and oral communication skills Experience with MS Office and expertise with computer assisted legal resources The ability to manage multiple high-volume priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional, cooperative, positive and flexible attitude The Immigration Paralegal is responsible for preparing a wide variety of business-based nonimmigrant (H-1B, L-1, TN, E, and O-1) and immigrant (employment and family-based) petitions, including forms preparation, and supporting documentation. Do you have the DRIVE and DESIRE to: Manage high-volume corporate client accounts and work closely with clients to provide comprehensive immigration services Compile and maintain records of immigration filings, other documentation, and records of activity on behalf of clients Review immigration regulations and be able to apply them to various case scenarios Perform research using all available immigration research tools including government agencies' websites Write detailed and complex supporting argumentation Enter case information into case management system Harris Beach Murtha recognizes everyone has a right to be included. Requirements
