About The Position

Manage immigration processes from initiation through completion, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable requirements. Handle a variety of employment-based immigration applications and related casework with strong attention to detail. Independently assess complex immigration matters, identify potential issues, escalate appropriately and recommend appropriate next steps. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, employees, outside counsel, and other relevant parties to move cases forward efficiently. Maintain accurate immigration records, case documentation, timelines, and status updates. Monitor immigration deadlines, process milestones, and required filings to ensure timely completion. Navigate ambiguous or complex immigration scenarios using strong judgment, research skills, and practical problem-solving. Support process improvements that increase efficiency, consistency, and visibility across immigration case management.

Requirements

  • Prior experience processing H1-B, TN, F-1, H-4 and Green Card applications, including autonomous completion of the PERM process.
  • Ability to independently manage complex immigration cases from start to finish with minimal hand holding.
  • Strong understanding of employment-based immigration processes, documentation, and compliance considerations.
  • Proven ability to navigate nuanced or gray-area immigration issues with sound judgment and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, internal teams, and external partners.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience as a paralegal or immigration professional within an immigration law firm handling a broad range of application types.
  • Preferred 3-5 years of immigration experience
