About The Position

Sanabria & Associates, PLLC, a fast-growing and prestigious law firm with multiple offices in Maryland, Virginia, and Florida, is seeking highly motivated and qualified attorneys. While immigration experience is required, the firm also welcomes motivated lawyers with experience in other legal areas who desire to transition into immigration law. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, team player, manager, and self-starter with strong business acumen and a desire to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, high-growth practice. The role requires the ability to handle a fast caseload, manage day-to-day client interactions, lead a large team of paralegals, meet deadlines, and be available to clients and partners. Strong organizational and project management skills are essential.

Requirements

J.D. from an ABA Accredited Law School (required)
Active Bar License in Good Standing from any US State or PR (required)
Authorized to work in the US
Fluent in Spanish (required)
Immigration experience (1 year or more)

Nice To Haves

Immigration experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated lawyers with experience in other legal areas who desire to become practitioners in the immigration field.

Responsibilities

Meet with potential new clients
Coordinate case and legal strategy
Manage multiple cases, paralegals, projects, and deadlines
Train and supervise staff
Prepare and revise court documents
Conduct legal research and write motions, briefs, and memoranda
Keep abreast of legislative changes and judicial case law
Market the law firm's services
Work one Saturday a month with the potential for bonuses for new clients signed during those days
Cross-sell various other practices within the law firm
Handle court hearings and trials
