IMCS Subject Matter Expert (SME)

About The Position

Datum is looking to hire several IMCS SMEs who have working experience on the Item Management Control System (IMCS). Candidates will participate as a SME Team to perform the duties outlined below. The IMCS SME Team will work collectively to resolve interface and interoperability requirements within the IMCS program with its interfacing partners and map IMCS data to the appropriate IMCS business processes. The SME Team will assist in ensuring FIAR and FISCAM requirements are met; participate in various working sessions that addresses systems integration issues; conduct risk assessments and determine mitigation actions; identify and analyze system/software requirements, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and other data supporting various IMCS requirements. The SME Team will also participate in technical reviews, evaluate deliverables/artifacts from the sustainment/development organization, support system test/evaluation and associated test activities, perform contingency planning/exercises, assist PMO in performing and analyzing QA audits and activities such as Unit Compliance Inspections (UCI) and others.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of functional or technical experience with IMCS or comparable programs
  • Working knowledge of AF logistics and AF cataloging systems
  • Active U.S. citizenship
  • Minimum current NAC is required prior to beginning work.
