About The Position

The Imaging Technologist II performs all standard diagnostic x-ray procedures on pre-mature neo-natal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. This includes fluoroscopy, portable, surgical, and routine exams. The role requires the technologist to be licensed as a California Radiologic Technologist and comply with OSHA standards and regulations regarding blood-borne pathogens and ionizing radiation. A key requirement is cross-training in one of the following modalities: CT Scan, MRI, or Mammography. The position demands demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care, understanding the physiological, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients across all age groups. The technologist must be able to assess patient status, interpret data, and provide necessary care according to ECRMC’s policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist by the State of California
  • California Fluoroscopy License
  • CPR American Heart Association
  • Proficient and able to function independently in CT Scan, Mammography and MRI

Responsibilities

  • Perform all standard diagnostic x-ray procedures on patients of all age groups (pre-mature neo-natal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric).
  • Conduct fluoroscopy, portable, surgical, and routine x-ray exams.
  • Comply with OSHA standards and regulations concerning blood-borne pathogens and ionizing radiation.
  • Provide age-appropriate care based on demonstrated knowledge and skills.
  • Assess data reflective of patient status and interpret information to identify patient needs.
  • Provide care as described in ECRMC’s policies and procedures.
  • Cross-train in one of the following modalities: CT Scan, MRI, or Mammography.
