About The Position

The Rose de Lima Campus, a 10-bed hospital in Henderson, offers emergency services, diagnostic imaging, and limited inpatient care, serving all patients regardless of their ability to pay. As our Imaging Tech, you will perform a variety of advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures across diverse imaging modalities, under the general direction of departmental leadership. Every day, you will expertly operate complex imaging equipment, precisely execute imaging protocols, and meticulously monitor patients to ensure their safety and comfort throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures. To be successful in this role, you will skillfully produce high-quality diagnostic images, collaborate effectively with the medical team, and steadfastly advocate for patient safety and optimal outcomes within the imaging environment.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a fully accredited (full accreditation means the training program is accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or a similar, nationally recognized, accrediting agency), training program in the pertinent modality for which the employee is being hired.
  • Successful and valid registration/certification by a nationally recognized accrediting agency in the specific modality for which the employee was hired.
  • One or more years of experience in the specific modality for which the candidate is being considered.
  • Modality specific advanced level registry must be obtained within twelve months of hire date.
  • Should any of the above requirements (completion of the program or achieving registration/certification) not be obtained, in the specified time-frame, a single three month extension may be considered and granted at the discretion of the management.
  • Must be experienced in operating equipment and evaluating images obtained, including anatomy and pathology so that additional images in varying positions may be obtained if necessary for correct diagnosis.
  • One or more years of experience.
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.
  • Medical Radiographer: NV, upon hire.
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, upon hire or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, upon hire or Registered Vascular Technologist, upon hire or Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, upon hire.
  • Must be available to take call and arrive at the hospital with a 30-minute response time.
  • Should have or develop expertise in multiple (more than one) modalities of Radiology (X-Ray, OR, CT, NM).

  • Allows for cultural and religious beliefs in providing services.
  • Observes for signs of abuse/neglect.
