Imaging Technologist Aide - 3-4 days per week

Shared Imaging is currently seeking a Full Time Imaging Technologist Aide for its San Marcos and San Diego, CA locations. The role requires flexibility to cover both locations with open availability, including weekends as needed. The position involves assisting technologists with patient care and room preparation for imaging procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPR/BLS Certification (via American Heart Association) required
- Self-starter with the ability to multi-task
- Hard working, detail-oriented, and committed to outstanding patient care
- Team player with a positive attitude
Nice To Haves
- Certified Medical Assistant preferred
- Medical terminology, anatomy and physiology understanding preferred
- Patient care experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Greeting and directing patients
- Confirming and registering patients
- Verifying all necessary information is available for the test
- Ability to walk to and from hospital and trailer as needed
- Assist patients in and out of the trailer
- Ability to push wheelchairs, gurneys and stretchers
- Assist technologist with positioning patient and assisting them on and off the scanning table
- Assist in setting up MRI or PET/CT scanning rooms
- Stocking and maintaining patient dressing rooms, scan rooms and control areas
- Ordering supplies
- Other responsibilities as directed
