About The Position

GST is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Imaging Technician to support our Service Department with computer imaging, device configuration, inventory management, and deployment preparation. This is a hands-on role working with laptops, desktops, Chromebooks, printers, and related hardware. Training will be provided for specific imaging and enrollment processes. This is a 3-month project-based assignment with the potential for permanent employment based on business needs and performance. We are conducting immediate in-person scheduled interviews!

Requirements

  • Strong English communication skills required, including the ability to speak, read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Experience using Windows-based PCs required.
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to follow established processes and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word, preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and peripherals is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to accurately perform data entry and maintain records.
  • Previous experience in hardware deployment, imaging, inventory management, warehouse operations, or technical support.
  • Experience working with Chromebook enrollment or device configuration tools.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, image, and re-image laptops, desktops, Chromebooks, and other devices.
  • Set up Chromebook accounts using Google enrollment tools (training provided).
  • Assist with data migration and device preparation for deployment (training provided).
  • Label, tag, and track computers, monitors, printers, and related equipment.
  • Record serial numbers and maintain accurate inventory documentation.
  • Sort, organize, and prepare equipment for shipping, delivery, or deployment.
  • Load, unload, open, and package equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Move equipment and pallets within the warehouse and between designated work areas.
  • Enter and maintain inventory and project information in Excel and other tracking systems.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Identify and escalate technical or customer issues requiring advanced support.
  • Support additional project and operational tasks as assigned.
