About The Position

Performs at least two or more imaging technologies to assist with the diagnosis of medical conditions, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Requirements

• Performs work under direct supervision.
• Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
• Typically requires accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 0 to 2 years of experience.
• May require an Associate's degree and/or ARRT Certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of imaging machines, such as X-ray, Ultrasound, CT or MRI, according to established safety protocols.
• Ensures proper patient positioning and imaging techniques.
• Maintains accurate patient records and imaging data.
• Monitors imaging equipment for proper functioning.
• Provides patient education and address any concerns.
