This role involves greeting patients and visitors, answering the telephone, scheduling appointments, and acting as a liaison between physicians, radiologists, and technologists. The assistant also provides radiology reports and images, manages health information records, and completes required documentation. They communicate patient observations and needs to the healthcare team and perform routine maintenance and quality monitoring of imaging equipment. Additionally, they may assist with screening and documenting MRI implants. The position requires the ability to provide age-appropriate care, demonstrating knowledge of growth and development across the life span and assessing patient status based on age-specific needs.
