About The Position

The Imaging Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the assigned x-ray, fluoroscopy, and cone-beam CT departments. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, this role will include direct patient care. This is a full-time role, Monday - Friday weekday hours supervising for two different x-ray teams in Maple Grove, Plymouth, Robbinsdale, Blaine, Brooklyn Park, Otsego, and Coon Rapids. Approximately 40% direct patient care with teams. Occasional evenings/weekends as needed. Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology Program
  • ARRT certification in Radiography required
  • Ability to work independently at least 90% of the time.
  • Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guidelines.
  • Ability to complete job required training.
  • Ability to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.)
  • Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance
  • Work in the clinic, office or surgery center during business hours
  • Travel independently throughout the clinic, office or surgery center (which may include movement from floor to floor); frequent bending, lifting, standing, stooping or sitting for long periods of time may be required
  • Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlines
  • Communicate and interact in a respectful and professional manner
  • Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operations

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operations of the assigned departments, ensuring excellent delivery of patient care.
  • Partner with Imaging Director to effectively recruit, hire, coach, train, and develop employees.
  • Responsible for the coordination of the weekly schedule to maintain appropriate staff coverage.
  • Operate as a liaison between the Imaging Director and all technologist staff to ensure quality and efficiency of patient service. This work may include meeting with clinic managers and/or staff to assess, educate and review data on quality, service and integrity relating to the work of radiologic technologists.
  • Conduct frequent, timely, and appropriate communications with employees through meetings and one-on-one sessions; actively participate in meetings and other communications processes; share information timely, accurately, and completely with others, as needed.
  • Partner with Imaging Director and/or lead technologists to conduct annual review of direct reports, including determination of any relevant compensation adjustments.
  • Develop and maintain cone-beam CT accreditation for the site. Ensure staff are maintaining CT continuing education requirements.
  • Partner with physicians, radiologists and staff technologists to ensure Quality Improvement Program requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (e.g., HIPPA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws), company policies and procedures, business ethics, etc.
  • Perform general x-ray, fluoroscopy, and cone-beam CT procedures for physicians’ use in diagnosing and treating illness or injury.
  • Coordinates equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Occasionally participate in community functions relating to TCO outreach events throughout the year.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned, to include the responsibilities of the Radiologic and/or MRI Technologist.
