About The Position

Position at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Assumes responsibility, under the direction of the Supervisor of Clerical Operations, for the coordination of all clerical, scheduling and billing activities at the Imaging Services main desk, which includes the Diagnostic X-Ray, CT Scan, Nuclear medicine and referring physicians. Often the first contact of the department of Imaging Services and the Hospital, represents both in a professional, courteous and efficient manner.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent.
• A minimum of one year of radiology clerical experience with knowledge of processes, procedures and different modalities.

Nice To Haves

• One year of college or specialized post-high school training in medical terminology and medical office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordination of all clerical, scheduling and billing activities at the Imaging Services main desk, which includes the Diagnostic X-Ray, CT Scan, Nuclear medicine and referring physicians.
• Serve as the first point of contact for the department of Imaging Services and the Hospital, representing both in a professional, courteous and efficient manner.
