About The Position

As an Imaging Scientist II at ICON, you will lead the design, execution, and analysis of clinical trials involving medical imaging modalities, contributing to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a relevant field, such as medical imaging, biomedical engineering, or radiology.
  • Extensive experience in medical image analysis, preferably in a clinical research setting.
  • Proficiency in imaging software and tools, such as DICOM viewers and image analysis software.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively manage and mentor junior team members.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proven track record of working in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Have the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, execution, and analysis of clinical trials involving medical imaging modalities.
  • Take responsibility for medical imaging deliverables, applying your skills to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Lead the development of imaging protocols and endpoints for clinical trials in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Supervise the acquisition, processing, and analysis of imaging data to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Interpret complex imaging results and provide expert insights to support clinical trial decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for medical imaging in clinical research.
  • Contribute to the development and validation of imaging biomarkers and methodologies for use in clinical trials.
