Requirements

Experience using Epic for patient scheduling
Minimum 2 years of medical scheduling experience
Previous imaging scheduling experience required
Experience scheduling CT and MRI appointments
Strong understanding of medical terminology
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Professional and compassionate phone presence
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Must reside in California

Nice To Haves

Experience scheduling multiple imaging modalities, including ultrasound
Experience in a high-volume healthcare call center or centralized scheduling environment
Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) and scheduling platforms

Responsibilities

Schedule imaging appointments including CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
Manage both inbound and outbound patient calls with professionalism and empathy.
Review and work scheduling queues to ensure timely patient access to care.
Coordinate appointments across multiple imaging locations.
Verify scheduling requirements and ensure appointments are scheduled accurately.
Assist in reducing scheduling backlogs and improving patient access to services.
Utilize medical terminology and imaging knowledge to support scheduling activities.
Maintain productivity, accuracy, and quality standards while working remotely.
